Iowa All State Jazz Auditions occur every year at Iowa Vocal Jazz Championships. You DO NOT need to be in a jazz ensemble at ADM to audition, however, you do need to be in Concert Choir.
On the right side of the page, you can find the link to the All State Jazz Choir audition form and information sheet regarding the audition process, as well as practice tracks for the audition cut. If you have any questions, please find Mr. Woodin.
If auditioning- please fill out the registration form and bring it to Mr. Woodin to complete and send. Scale recordings and sight-singing examples are available below!
IOWA ALL STATE JAZZ CHOIR 2015
On July 25th, 2015, ADM had 3 students represented in the Iowa All State Jazz Choir at NIACC in Mason City, Iowa at the Iowa Choral Director's Convention. The choir is made up of the top 10% of singers in Iowa. The picture on the right shows (Left to Right), Jonathan Norris (Junior), Madalyn Walker (Junior) and LewElla Riker (Senior). The picture on the left features the whole All State Jazz Choir.
